The Andalusian Horse is known worldwide for its beauty and kind temperament, its extremely friendly nature and intelligence, making them quick learners and very easy to work with. Traditionally they have been used as pleasure riding and driving horses, and for high school dressage for centuries. They were the horses chosen by kings and queens across Europe throughout history.
But now the Andalusian Horse has evolved to become also an excellent sports prospect as they are getting more and more popular in dressage show rings and driving competitions. In fact, our Spanish Olympic Dressage Team, with two Andalusians, one Lusitano (Portugese breed which has evolved from the Andalusians) and only one Warmblood, won the Silver Medal in 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.


We offer you our experience, connections and prestige, to help you select the right horse, and very important: the right price.From a docile one with lovely temperament, only for pleasure riding, to one that is high school dressage trained. Of course, depending on the rider's ability.We are not horse dealers, and EPONA is not a livery yard, but we would have a number of Andalusians at our stables, on "Deposit from the Owners", to give the opportunity to our guests interested in acquiring a horse to test, try and enjoy them, either during the lessons, in the stables, or out in the country, during their weeks' holiday or vacation.
All of these horses would have Insurance and Veterinary Health Certificates. This service will be charged on a commission basis, and a retainer would have to be deposited in advance. If the transaction takes place, the retainer would be deducted from the commission.
We use a company that offers door to door transport, within the European Community or overseas, including all permits, certificates, quarantine (if necessary), blood samples etc.
