The Andalusian Horse is known worldwide for its beauty and kind temperament, its extremely friendly nature and intelligence, making them quick learners and very easy to work with. They have been used for High School Dressage for centuries and make wonderful pleasure horses. They were the horses chosen by Kings and Queens across Europe throughout history, always present in the Royal Courts.
Nowadays  the Andalusian Horse  is not only that, but has evolved to become also an excellent sports  horse. They are getting more and more popular in dressage show rings and driving competitions.  They have been part of the Spanish Olympic  Dressage Team for the last four Games, with excellent results, including team silver in Athens.

We offer you our experience, connections and prestige, to help you select the right horse, and very important: the right price. From a docile one with lovely temperament, only for pleasure riding, to one that is High School Dressage trained.  Athletic Dressage sports Andalusians , youngsters, mares etc.   
 We are not horse dealers, and EPONA is not a livery yard, but we  usually   have a number of Andalusians at our stables, on "Deposit from the Owners" who are available for sale.
  We also have many contacts and know of a lot of nice horses who are for sale in the area. If you would like to buy an Andalusian but the ones we have available for sale at the moment, here,  at Epona are not exactly what you are looking for, we can also offer other horses which better meet your criteria. Just let us know what you are looking for.

 If you are interested in any of our horses for sale and are planning a visit, we will be more than happy to let you ride these horses, see what they are like for handling  and how they behave in the stables.

Transport tends to be easier than expected. We use a company that offers door to door transport, within the European Community or overseas that takes care of all permits,  health certificates, quarantine (if necessary), blood samples etc.  and obviously all the travel arrangements.

Transport within the EU is relatively cheap, it depends on the country, but usually between one and two thousand euros.

Transport to the USA for geldings and registered Andalusians stallions who have not bred, costs around  6000 euros with everything included.

We use the following  categories for the pricing of the horses:  A (6.000 to 15.000 €), B (16.000 to 24.000 €), C (25.000 to 33.000 €), D (34.000 to 42.000 €) E (43.000 to 50.000 €) and F (more than 50.000€).
